Matt Waugh

Founder

Matt trained as a mental health nurse and fitness instructor before founding Live More Gyms.

Matt works on Nile Ward male psychiatric intensive care unit.

Matt was awarded a Churchill Fellowship to Australia.

 

Dr Joseph Firth

Co-Founder

Joseph is a member of the World Health Organisation's (WHO) Physical Activity Guidelines Group. 

 

Joseph is co-author for the WHO's Guidelines on Physical Activity and Sedentary Behaviour. 

 

Joseph is Research Fellow at Manchester University and won 2020 UK Research & Innovation Future Leader for Digital Youth Mental Health.

Joseph is Lancet Commission Chair for improving physical health of people with mental illness.
